Registration Information

MAA & MAP Joint Annual Meeting

14-16 April 2011 | Scottsdale, AZ

Everyone planning to attend the conference in April must register by the 25th of February in order to avoid the late registration surcharge.

  • Members of the Medieval Academy and students pay a preferential registration fee.
  • Non-members of the Medieval Academy who wish to attend the March meeting are invited to join before registering for the conference. They will benefit both from the lower registration fee and from the many benefits of membership, including a subscription to the journal Speculum. Membership forms can be found on the Medieval Academy's website under “Member Information.”

The preferred mode of registration is online. Please click here and follow the directions on the meeting’s secure credit-card payment facility. Online registration closes on the 11th of March. Please note that a late registration surcharge of 35 dollars applies after the 25th of February.

To register by mail, please print out a registration form. If the form is posted after the 25th of February, please include the late registration surcharge of 35 dollars. Mail-in registrations must be received by the 11th of March.

The registration fee includes continental breakfast, coffee breaks, and receptions. When registering, please be sure to sign up for every event you plan to attend, including those that are free of charge. Attendance numbers are essential for the planning of receptions and other catered events. Owing to catering deadlines, some social events may not be available to those who register after the deadline.

Spouses/Companions. A discounted registration fee is offered to companions of registrants who will not attend program sessions but wish to participate in social events. To register, specify the companion’s name on the main registrant’s form and check the social events the companion will attend. If applicable, include additional payment for the Friday banquet.
