CMRS Oxford Termly Academic Programmes

Overview: Academic Program

CMRS is affiliated to Keble College, one of the largest constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. CMRS students are also enrolled as Associate Students of Keble College and enjoy the use of the College's remarkable range of academic and social facilities, including library, music room, chapel, junior common room, dining room, sporting facilities and clubs.

Students take two tutorial courses, one seminar, and the Integral Course during the course of the semester, for a total of 16 semester credits. The Integral Course is designed for students to obtain from its lectures, colloquium and field trips a comprehensive overview of the Middle Ages, or Renaissance and Early-Modern period, a first-hand knowledge of seminal writers of each period, and a deeper understanding of the relationship between faith and learning.

Tutorial courses, which are worth 4 credits each, are the heart of the English University's educational system. Students receive one on one from British professors, which allow for the courses to be adapted to the student's individual needs.

This program is open to all majors.
