ACMRS has partnered with the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions, Europe 1100-1800, a major research venture that has some $30 million (Australian) in funding and involves five universities in Australia. There will be monthly study group meetings on the ASU Tempe Campus as well as lectures on and off campus beginning next fall, a book series co-edited by the two centers beginning now, co-sponsored sessions at the annual ACMRS conference each February, and an exchange program between the centers. If you are interested in joining the study groups and participating in person or via Skype, or if you’re interested in submitting a paper for our conference, or if you have a book proposal, or if you’re just interested in being on our mailing list, please email Robert Bjork, Director, ACMRS. Nine faculty members at ASU and three at UA are currently involved in the project, and more from all over Arizona are welcome. ACMRS hopes that the relationship and project have a long and resplendent future.
