MAA & MAP Joint Annual Meeting

14-16 April 2011 | Scottsdale, AZ

The 2011 joint meeting of the Medieval Academy of America and the Medieval Association of the Pacific will be held on April 14-16 at the Chaparral Suites Scottsdale, 5001 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85250.

We anticipate that there will be 350-400 attendees.

Academic publishers, booksellers, and others who provide materials of interest to medievalists are invited to exhibit during the conference.

fax it to 480-965-1681, or email it to acmrs at asu.edu.

Exhibit space, which will be near the meeting rooms, is open to attendees on Thursday from noon to 6 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. (by which time on Saturday the teardown must be completed). The exhibit room is available for set up on Thursday, beginning at 9 a.m.

Charges for tables, 2 ft. x 6 ft. are:

  • 1 table: $200
  • 2 tables: $300
  • 3 tables: $400
  • Each additional table: $50

The Chaparral Suites will be able to provide additional complimentary equipment for all of the tables. A list of possible provisions follows.

  • (1) 6 Foot Table – Clothed in Champagne Linen and Skirted in Black
  • (2) Chairs
  • (1) Wastebasket
  • (1) Power Strip & Extension Cord Per Booth with Standard Power
  • Handling (receipt, storage, delivery & pick-up to the exhibit space) of all boxes and crates
  • Cleaning of Exhibit Space at Conclusion of Exhibit Show
