Public Lecture Series
In the spring of 2012, ACMRS established a new aspect of the center that will be entirely devoted to public programs. In this way, the center will serve as a bridge between the scholarly community and the general public. These programs are intended to bring the information and research from our affiliates to the lovers of history in our local community.

The first series is entitled:
“Fearless Females: Audacious and Feisty Women of the Middle Ages and Renaissance”
ACMRS Public Programs will host a series of programs highlighting the life and times and legacy of a variety of outspoken and influential women from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Each program will be led by a recognized scholar discussing an audacious woman who made a significant contribution. Both famous and infamous and are worthy of study. Discussions will be informative, educational, and fun but geared to the general public. A Q&A will follow the program.
